Rama Krishna Kalyanam, is the son of illustrious and the legendary Telugu Film and Stage actor and singer par excellence - “Padmasri Eelapaata Raghuramiah” (Eelapaata Fame aka Whistle Wizard) and reputed Kannada Film Actress Adoni Lakshmi Devi. A graduate in English Literature, Economics and Commerce, RK started his career with Doordarshan as an Announcer during mid-1980s. It set the future course of his life on Television spanning 35 years.

• Local Guide for Google Maps – his stint as a local guide (hobby) was recognised by Google Maps and was invited to San Jose to participate in Connect Live 2019 an annual event

RK had the opportunity to get involved in the production of corporate, documentary and advertisement films, thanks to his brother-in-law Madhu Mahankali, an F.T.I.I graduate in Cinematography. He was actively associated with Madhu for his production house, Guys & Professionals for nearly a decade.

RK established VEEKSHANA CREATIONS, a video production house. Under this banner he started producing films for various organizations like Ramoji Film City, HelpAge India and Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DICCI), I.V.R’s for Axis Bank, Edelweiss, Karvy. He is actively involved in production of documentary films to the present day.

Since 2011, RK visited US several times and lived for more than 2 years. He travelled extensively in US and visited Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, San Francisco, San Jose, Napa Valley, New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Niagara Falls, Philadelphia, Big Island and Honolulu in the picturesque Hawaii. He also visited Beijing, China and Thailand. In India too, he travelled to all corners of the country & all major metropolitan cities. This motivated him to present his home state to the World.
